Radioactivity Environmental Monitoring: REMdb
REMdb Public Service Online
Under the terms of Article 36 of the Euratom Treaty, Member States shall
periodically communicate to the Commission information on environmental
radioactivity levels. Compilations of the information received have been
published by the Commission as a series of reports beginning in the early 1960s.
All of the environmental radioactivity results received from the Member States
have been introduced into the REM data-bank (REM DB) by the Institute for Environment and
Sustainability of the EC Joint Research Centre (JRC) at Ispra (Italy) as part of
its DG TREN support programme.
